Sweet Sounds of Something Better

Caught a very interesting segment on PRI's "The World" this afternoon.  (How would I survive without NPR and PRI?)  The segment featured interview with Dudu Tassa, an Israeli musician whose grandfather and great uncle were Iraqi music legends.  After years of relative disinterest, he's discovered their music and added his own voice to their legacy.  Here Dudu takes on some of their old Iraqi tunes (in Arabic, no less) and gives them a contemporary, jazz-infused spin.  Very, very cool!  The link to "The World" piece is here too!
