I'm listening to a range of black friends today, and they're expressing a deeper disappointment, a more profound sense of outrage than others. And I get it. After this year, this year of violence and protest, this summer of brutality and grief, they expected so much more from us: so much more from white allies, so much more from white Christians, so much more from their country.To be clear, this wasn’t a presidential election, it was just a survey on how much this country loves racism and most white people checked the box for “very satisfied”
