"This experiment calls for something deeper than anger, defense, or exchange of accusations; it is a frank call to contemplation and hard teamwork for popular reconciliation and a reminder of the unity of the people and the cause. In order to achieve this, we have to work hard and quickly to create safe and purposeful spaces for honest dialogue between Palestinian Muslims and Christians about national and religious identity, and mutual responsibility. These dialogues should not be limited to formal events but extend to schools, and youth centers, where everyday attitudes towards each other are shaped..."
