Through our mutual friend, Sheikh Ghassan Manasra, I was introduced to Father Issa this week, and we shared a powerful evening of conversation and communion. His commitment to his people is deep, grounded and exceedingly humble. And I will continue to pray for him and for his family--as he offers himself, day by day, to the Servant Christ in the midst of beautiful and brokenhearted people.
