On sabbatical last summer, I met Sister Anisa at Wi'am, as she participated in the women's program and worked with so many others to build beloved community and a powerful relational culture. As she grieves now, for a daughter and granddaughter, I pray for her broken heart. And I re-commit my energies to dismantling the violence and greed that perpetuates genocide day after day after day.
